Using AI Kits with CLI Tools

Our AI kits are markdown files designed for CLI-based AI tools. Here's how to get the best results.

Why CLI Tools?

πŸ“

Direct File Access

CLI tools can read your kit files directly from diskβ€”no copy-pasting needed.

πŸ”„

Persistent Context

The AI remembers your kit's rules across the entire session.

⚑

Faster Workflow

Reference prompts by filename instead of pasting walls of text.

Quick Setup

1

Download your kit

After purchase, download the ZIP file and extract it to a folder on your machine.

2

Navigate to the folder

cd ~/Downloads/my-ai-kit
3

Start your CLI tool

claude # or: cursor . / aider
4

Reference the system prompt

Tell the AI to read and follow your kit's instructions:

"Read the system.prompt file and follow those instructions for our session"

Pro Tips

Use CLAUDE.md

Rename your system prompt to CLAUDE.md in the project root. Claude Code will auto-load it every session.

Keep kits in one folder

Create a ~/ai-kits directory and organize all your kits there for easy access.

Combine kits

Reference multiple kit files in one session to combine capabilities.

Version control

Put your kits in a git repo to track customizations and sync across machines.
